Commercial vehicle fleets can be a lucrative source of revenue for automakers. Some companies may order hundreds or even thousands of vehicles to deploy in their fleets around the world.
Tesla is looking to take a bigger slice of this sector by launching a new page on its website that highlights the benefits of an all-electric fleet. (h/t: @tesla_adri)
The website lists benefits not only for drivers, such as access to the vast Supercharger network, but also for the companies themselves.
One of the biggest expenses for business fleets is virtually eliminated: maintenance costs. Tesla says that even when repairs are needed, much of the work can be done wherever you are with mobile service rangers, and sometimes even with an over-the-air (OTA) software update.
Tesla also points to the incredible residual values of their vehicles on the used market. This is a benefit overlooked by many, but one that can save companies hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on the size of their fleet.
If after reading all of this a business wants to switch to a Tesla fleet, there is a simple form you can fill out to get more information from an advisor.
You can view the full website at Tesla.com/fleet.
