Enterprise software startup is moving its headquarters to Lexington, KY after an aggressive recruitment wave

Sky Systemz reaches the sky from the 18th floor!

LEXINGTON, Ky., July 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Sky Systemza software-as-a-service (SaaS) company focused on digital payment and business management solutions, moves its offices to the top floor of a city center Lexington of great height.

Sky will move from its 2,700 square foot office space to Harrodsburg, Kentucky to nearly 14,000 square feet of retail space atop the Vine Center in the heart of downtown Lexington. Over the past year, Sky has quickly moved beyond humble beginnings and is focused on scaling its business for the big stage. The company’s growth has exceeded 1,000% in the past two years!

“It was no longer sustainable to run our operations, sales, distribution and service center with everyone crammed into one room,” the CEO said. Brian Nichols. “With our goals to exceed a compound annualized growth rate (CAGR) of 300% over the next three years, coupled with our hiring initiatives to add 100 new employees over the next 24 months, we needed a great space to support our growth and expand even more when ready.”

Sky was founded in 2017, then launched in late 2019 as a point-of-sale system and payment processor. Since 2017, Sky has grown from a small team of Nichols, a few family members and a few friends, to over 50 staff after recently hiring 15 new employees in June. The new location will allow Sky to hire and relocate talent to Kentucky.

As the platform has grown over the past couple of years, Sky is no longer the “little cloud outlet that could” but has established itself as a strong contender in the cloud market. financial technologies with its innovative cloud technology “bolted down” to run complex applications. .

Industry competitors include: Square primarily works with small businesses that integrate into their out-of-the-box solution; Toast aims to serve restaurants; Shopify focuses on early e-commerce businesses. Meanwhile, Sky was designed to fill an unmet need for professional services customers who need customizable solutions – a market they say has been overlooked.

The company plans to move into offices in mid-July. Current plans include private offices for management, multiple conference rooms, an open collaborative environment for the sales and customer success teams, and an audio/video studio for the marketing team.

Nichols concludes, “This new office gives us the space to hire and train staff, support our customers, and efficiently build new functionality from a central office. Now, with a streamlined growth process in place, I’m very excited to see what we are accomplishing in the years to come as we expand nationally.”
